Access God’s Power In Your Life
"I ask—ask the God of our Master, Jesus Christ, the God of glory—to make you intelligent and discerning in knowing him personally, your eyes focused and clear, so that you can see exactly what it is he is calling you to do, grasp the immensity of this glorious way of life he has for his followers, oh, the utter extravagance of his work in us who trust him—endless energy, boundless strength!" Eph 1:18 MESS
“I also pray that you will understand the incredible greatness of God’s power for us who believe him. This is the same mighty power that raised Christ from the dead and seated him in the place of honor at God’s right hand in the heavenly realms.” Eph 1:19-20 NLT
These verses tell us that God’s power is available to work in and for us who believe God. That power is immeasurable and unlimited. It’s the same power that raised Jesus from the dead and put Him on a throne in heaven to rule the universe. God’s power is available for individuals and churches to provide revelation, healing, increase, guidance, peace, strength and more. We don’t know how it all works because His power is received, not understood.
God’s power is available to all Christians. (All means all! It doesn’t matter who you are or what you’ve done.) When Jesus died on the cross, He purchased the right for all believers to have access to this power. Unfortunately, it’s not active in many people’s lives. That’s because many don’t receive it. His power is accessed simply by belief that Jesus paid the price for you to have it because of His great love for you. There’s nothing you have to “do” to activate this great force in your life. It’s simply a matter of believing this: Christ died for you, He bore the bad stuff (lack, confusion, sickness, anxiety etc.) so it doesn’t have a right to be in your life and His love for you is immense and beyond measure.
Receive His love and you recieve His power.
