Look at the unseen
There are many circumstances in our lives that scream for our attention. Things happening in our health, finances, relationships, career and more all want our focus. 2 Cor 4:18 says, “There’s far more here than meets the eye. The things we see now are here today, gone tomorrow. But the things we can’t see now will last forever” (The Message).
Keep your center of attention on the things that are unseen. These are the promises that God has spoken to us. Agree with what God is seeing. Say what God says about your situation. This isn’t about making things up. It’s agreeing with what God says. The Bible shows us that He has many things to say about your situation. It may be different than what you see with your natural eyes but keep your focus on God’s promises and they will come to pass. He has promises concerning every aspect of your life. Believe what God says, not what circumstances say.
“The rain and snow come down from the heavens and stay on the ground to water the earth. They cause the grain to grow, producing seed for the farmer and bread for the hungry. It is the same with my word. I send it out, and it always produces fruit. It will accomplish all I want it to, and it will proper everywhere I send it.” Isaiah 55:10, 11 NLT
